Creating art can be empowering and provide a sense of accomplishment, building self-esteem and confidence. Creating alongside others is a way to foster community and reduce isolation.

Art is an extremely valuable tool for individuals to express themselves, connect with their community, enhance resiliency, and experience well-being.

WHO IS ART FOR?

So often when we share about our programs, many assume they're only for kids.

Adults, you are allowed to take time for yourself. You are allowed to be creative. You're even allowed to not be perfect at it!

At the risk of sounding like Seuss...
Art is for the inexperienced.
Art is for the uncertain.
Art is for the curious.
Art is for the struggling.
Art is for the grieving.
Art is for the joyful.
Art is for the risk-taker.
Art is for all ages.

Art is for everyone. Art is for
YOU!

THERAPY VS THERAPEUTIC

Drawn roll of tape

Therapy involves treating specific conditions by licensed professionals, while therapeutic refers to anything contributing to well-being or having a healing effect.

The programs offered by Onslow Originals aim to provide the therapeutic benefits of art in a community setting. They are not intended to replace any form of therapy.
