CLOSING
Dear Friends,

After much thought and reflection, we’ve made the decision to close Onslow Originals. Our final programs will take place in October, and the specific dates are listed below.

For us, this organization has been more than a nonprofit, it’s been a community. The relationships, the lessons, the change, we carry it all forward with deep gratitude.

Since we began, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside incredible people who believed in our mission and gave generously of their time, energy, and heart. The Cohen Clinic at Hope For The Warriors, the USO on Camp Lejeune, Onslow County Public Library - Jacksonville Branch, the Jacksonville Friends of the Library, and the Sturgeon City Environmental Education Center all helped support our work of providing free community art programs. We’re so thankful for what we built together and know the impact we made is real and lasting. We encourage our community to support these organizations as you're able.

To those in positions of influence and decision-making, the arts are a boon to every part of our community. Supporting the arts and making them accessible is essential for all of us to thrive here.

Our hope for our community is that you will all continue to prioritize your well-being and create in ways that meet you where you are (or challenge you to go further!).

For me, I will continue to create, to advocate for the arts, and tend to my own health and wellness.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. For believing in us. For creating with us. For helping make a little more good in the world.
